About GlosFix

GlosFix is run from Gloucester by Scott Woodfield, through TWA Marketing Ltd.

I set GlosFix up because finding a tradesperson online had got more complicated than it needed to be. On some sites, you post a job and your details go to several firms at once, and the calls start before you’ve put the kettle on. The tradespeople don’t do much better. They end up paying to compete for the same job, and most of them lose.

So GlosFix works differently. Each job is sold once, to one local tradesperson, at a fixed price they see before they buy. Nobody bids against anyone else, and your number goes to that one person at the point they take the job on. We don’t publish tradespeople’s profiles for you to browse. You tell us what needs doing, and someone local who does that work picks it up.

It’s local on purpose. GlosFix covers Gloucester and the villages around it, and the tradespeople on it set how far they’ll travel, so the person who calls you is someone who works round here.

We sell each job to one tradesperson only, so your number never ends up on a call list. Tradespeople pay a fixed price for each job and see it before they buy, with no subscription or monthly fee.
